What a I Do in a Quarantine Tuesday
Even though the days are pretty repetitive, we do some different things every day. Today, Tuesday, we started out the day by doing music. I play guitar and my brother plays ukelele. Then, we did German on Duolingo. After that, we listened to some classical pieces of music and today we started an artwork on famous classical music. Then we did an illustration of Ruth Bader Ginsburg. If you haven't seen it, I would very highly recommend the documentary on her, RBG. We also watched some Ted-Ed videos and talked about Emily Dickinson. Then we did the homework for the school we go to 3 days a week. After that, we play outside, read, etc. Here's what our schedule looks like for school:
- Yoga/exercises
- Music
- German
- Blogging
- BREAK
- Math
- Language Arts
- LUNCH
- Reading
- Art
- Science
- Social Studies
Later in the day: bike rides, more reading, playing outside, baking, watching something.
Sounds like a pretty great and beautifully balanced day to me! How did you decide to learn German? Or why did you choose it over a different language? Why not mandarin?!
ReplyDeleteI actually don't remember why we decided to learn German...it's pretty fun though.
DeleteWow! All in a day. I like your balanced variety and organization. I have put RBG on my "must watch" list. I admire her immensely. Actually, I imagine she was much like you even when she was your age-- in her quest for knowledge, her commitment to fairness, and her care for people--and her quick mind and energetic spirit. (Does she do yoga? I know she values exercise and healthy living). Keep playing! xoxo
