Surviving a Pandemic - Coronavirus Update #1
Due to the Coronavirus, school is closed for at least 6 weeks, along with restaurants, stores, and hundreds of thousands of businesses throughout the world, causing people to be off work. We went on a picnic at a state park a few days ago, and the parking lot was packed! I think this was because there's not much else you can do right now. I wonder how many stores or businesses that we know now will be out of business after this pandemic dies down.
So far, I have been reading a lot, watching movies, learning new things, and playing outside. I've learned how to make a wall weaving, started learning calligraphy, continued learning German, done some photography, and made art. This week, I've been reading The Elephant Thief, Animal Farm, and The Last Battle.
Because many people are stuck at home and have free time (a lot of it!), I've made a list of some fun things to do, read, and watch.

ReplyDeleteSurprising as it might seem, I currently do NOT know how to make a wall weaving, so thank you for inspiring me to learn. Are your book recommendations in order? If not, which one would you recommend I start with?
ReplyDeleteThank you for commenting! No, they aren't in order. I would recommend you starting with To Kill a Mockingbird, I really enjoyed it. I will make a post soon showing how to make a wall weaving soon, so stay tuned!
