Surviving a Pandemic - Update #2
Washington is on a stay-at-home directive right now, so if you live here, you're likely stuck at home with your family. If you're like me, it can get kind of tiring being around the same people and not going anywhere. Here are some things I've done with my family that have helped me not go crazy.
- Try to watch something or play a game with your family every evening.
- Go outside to get some fresh air.
- Eat at least one meal together every day.
- Make a schedule that you loosely follow every weekday. Some days we just throw the schedule out, but it helps me to stay focused.
- Have your own space that you can chill out in for a while.
- Do something creative like art, or photography, or make a video.
Solid suggestions. Sometimes Xiomara and Meilani get SUUUUUPER tiring, so I totally get it. Who in your household has done something during the pandemic that has been especially frustrating, and what was it?
ReplyDeleteJohannes keeps whistling and it is very annoying.
ReplyDeleteMagdelana, I wrote comments this morning and don't know what happened to them! I'm going to print your suggestions and post them here at home. I REALLY wish I could be "annoyed" right now and hear Johannes whistle in person. I would like to do #'s 1-6 with you right now (one at a time!).
ReplyDeleteWhat "one meal" did you and your family enjoy tonight? Who cooked?
ReplyDeleteYour blog is food for my soul! xoxo
Thank you! We had rice bowls last night and watched Cast Away :)
ReplyDeleteRice bowls! I wish I could have been at your table! Right now we're cast away, too far from you! xoxo
