Top 10 Hikes to Go On in the Columbia River Gorge

My family and I go hiking in the gorge a lot, so we've been on a lot of fun and adventurous hikes. If you want something to do, now is definitely a good time to go. Here is a list of my top 10 favorite hikes in the Columbia River Gorge.

1.High Point Trail - This is not a well-known hike, but it's one of my favorites. In some parts, you have to climb, but the view at the top is incredible. 

2. Cape Horn Loop Hike - This is a hike we go on a lot, and the view at the top is also amazing.

3. St. Cloud - Located at an old orchard by the river, a great place to have a picnic.

4. Beacon Rock - You get great views of the Gorge at the top.

5. Mosier Plateau Trail - Easier hike with lots of wildflowers and a great view.

6. Starvation Creek Trailhead - It leads to a waterfall, and there's a really fun campground, Viento, that we've stayed at a couple times.

7. Hamilton Mountain Trail - The trail leads to some really cool waterfalls. Beware of wasps!

8. Panther Creek - Waterfalls that plunge over a cliff, I want to explore this one more.

9. Lower Macleay Trail - This one's in Portland and leads to a waterfall. In some points, you have to wade through the water. 

10. Wahkeena Falls - This one is fun to go to in the snow.
